Deadly rollover crash on Highway 290

Officials say that one person has died after a rollover crash on 290.

The crash happened just after 6:30 a.m. in the 11100 block of West Highway 290.

Austin-Travis County EMS says that one person, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Four others were hurt in the crash. One has critical life threatening injuries and two have serious injuries that are not expected to be life threatening, officials say.

The crash forced all lanes of Highway 290 near Dripping Springs to close for several hours.
