Donations for Austin Disaster Relief Network at all time low

The Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) says its donations are at an all time low and its funds are running out as it helps to meet the emergency needs of hundreds of flood families.

To date, just under $5,000 has been raised through ADRN’s ‘October 2015 Flood Fund’ to help support the large funds that are being distributed, which is an all time low in donations raised during the initial disaster response. 

ADRN is a network of more than 158 church in the Greater Austin area and has been deployed at two flood shelters: the Flood Information Center at the Dove Springs Rec Center and at Kyle's MARC.

ADRN has served nearly 280 families over the last three days and it says many more are waiting for help.
