DPS looking for leads in unsolved murder of West Texas teen

The Texas Department of Safety (DPS) and the Texas Ranger Unsolved Crimes Investigation Team are asking for the public's help for information to help them solve the 2010 murder of a 13-year-old Colorado City girl.

Hailey Dunn was an 8th grade student at Colorado City Middle School in Mitchell County and was active in cheerleading, sports and band. She left her mother's house to go to friend's house on December 27, 2010 and never arrived. She was reported missing and despite searches she was not immediately found.

Hailey's body was found on March 16, 2013 near Lake J.B. Thomas in Scurry County.
