Early voting for midterm elections begins in Texas
If you're looking to skip waiting in line on Election Day you can cast your ballot Monday as early voting for the midterm elections starts and runs through Nov. 2.
Of course if you're going to vote you're going to need to provide one type of identification. Acceptable forms of ID includes a driver's license, Texas ID card, an election ID card, CHL, citizen certificate, military ID card or passport.
If you don't have any of those forms of identification you'll have to fill out a form at the polling location and present a document that shows your name and address. That could be a birth certificate, current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or any government document with your name and address.
