Emotional embrace: Military couple's surprise reunion caught on camera
SAN ANTONIO, Texas (FOX 13) - A married military couple shared an emotional reunion after being separated for eight months.
Video of the touching moment was shared by the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School Health Readiness Center of Excellence showing when 2nd lieutenant Jamie Douglas returned from a deployment in Iraq.
Her first trip was to Fort Sam Houston Training Center, where her husband, 2nd lieutenant Jordan Pruitt, was receiving medical training. He was surprised to see his wife, and the married couple shared an embrace after months apart.
"We thank this dual-military couple and all soldiers and military families for their service and sacrifice," the center said in a Facebook post.
