First female Texas A&M Corps Commander to be honored at event

The Women Former Students’ Network (WFSN) will be hosting a reception on September 3 to honor Alyssa Michalke, the first woman Corps Commander at Texas A&M University.
In a press release, WSFN President Molly Underwood says, “This is a wonderful time for the women of Texas A&M to gather and not only celebrate the accomplishments of this extraordinary woman, but to celebrate the accomplishments of all Aggie Women.”
The September 3 event will be at 6 p.m. at Messina Hof Winery & Resort in Bryan. Michalke is expected to make a short presentation
