Fort Hood soldier dies from injuries sustained in car crash

Fort Hood officials identified Specialist Kayleb Richardlee Harp, 24, as the solider that died in a car accident in Bee Cave, Texas on November 25.

Officials said Spc. Harp, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, has served in an active-duty military capacity since June 2012 as a combat medic and has been stationed at Fort Hood since January 2013.

Officials said Spc. Harp’s has earned multiple awards including an Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently under investigation.
