Last week was a bad one for Donald Trump, not so for his opponent, Hillary Clinton.
She continues to lead in national polls and is even extending it in battleground states. According to realclearpolitics.com, as it stands right now the national average has Clinton leading Trump by 48% support compared to the G.O.P. candidate's 41%.
But when it comes to Texas, it's a different story. According to a CBS/DFW poll, Trump is actually leading Clinton by a large margin. Trump has 46% support in the Lone Star State. That's compared to only 35% support for Clinton.
