AUSTIN, Texas - A Chicago woman is the second patient diagnosed with the coronavirus in the United States.
The first was a man in Washington state, and in both cases, the infected Americans got sick after traveling to China.
Two students, one at Texas A&M and one at Baylor, also are being tested for the virus, but neither has been confirmed yet.
A total of four potential cases in Texas have been tested or are in the process of being tested, state health officials said on Friday. Two of those are the Baylor and Texas A&M cases. The location of the other two potential cases isn’t known, but one of them has already come back negative.
Dr. James Evans, an infectious disease specialist at St. David's North Austin Medical Center, joins Marcel Clarke to discuss concerns about the virus.
