AUSTIN, Texas - Despite several members of the Texas House Democrats delegation in Washington, D.C. testing positive for COVID, the Dems say they are in it for the long haul as they hunker down to block controversial legislation regarding elections moving forward.
In the Special Session here in Texas, the trip to our nation's capital is raising a lot of questions.
Questions like why are the Democrats going to such extremes to fight the voting bill? And can House Republicans actually force them to come back?
Dr. Eddy Carder, an associate professor of constitutional law at Prairie View A&M University, shares his thoughts.
