Hays County fugitive apprehended

The Hays County Sheriff's Office says that the suspect who had escaped on October 9 in the area of Keystone Loop in Kyle has been caught. He was found at around 2 p.m. today with a woman who was also arrested.

Officials say 26-year-old Justin Carroll was arrested on an original warrant of violation of parole. He was also arrested for evading arrest and escape.

The woman arrested with Carroll has been identified as 25-year-old Monique Carmona. She was arrested on a warrant of fail to appear for public lewdness. She also was arrested for harboring a fugitive.
