The school year is right around the corner and the Hays County Local Health Department and partners are offering back-to-school vaccinations.
Vaccinations are available all week and will be free for those who qualify based on income, the county says. Kids and adults can get vaccinations between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from August 7 through August 11.
Hays County Local Health Department and Live Oak Health Partners Community Clinic are also hosting a "Back To-School Vaccinations and Immunization Celebration" on Monday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will be at Anita Reyes Park next to the Live Oak Health Partners Community Clinic.
The event is to recognize National Immunization Awareness Month. It will have a lot of freebies including food, games and prizes. There will also be back-to-school information for kids.
