Limited amount of Hunt's tomato paste recalled due to potential mold
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Conagra Brands, Inc., the owner of Hunt’s brand, has issued a voluntary recall of six-ounce cans of Hunt’s Tomato Paste - No Salt Added.
The FDA says that “after the canning process, the final product could have been damaged, creating the potential for mold.”
Conagra Brands say the company became aware of the issue after they received calls from customers.

The FDA says consumers are advised to not use the product and to either throw it away immediately or return it to the store where it was originally purchased.
No other Hunt’s products or Conagra Brands' products are impacted by this recall, according to the FDA.
