Local religious organizations hold vigil for New Zealand mosque attacks victims
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Several local religious organizations came together to hold a vigil for the victims of the New Zealand mosque attacks.
The vigil was held at St. James' Episcopal Church in East Austin.
The public was invited to attend and say prayers for the victims and show solidarity for the Muslim community.
The groups organizing the event were Muslim Space, CAIR, Nueces Mosque, Interfaith Action of Central Texas and St. James Episcopal Church.
