Man critically injured in East Austin shooting
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Police are investigating an early morning shooting in East Austin Monday morning.
A man suffered life-threatening injuries in the shooting. He was found injured in the 3500 block of Andtree Boulevard at around 4:15 a.m. May 13.
The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. According to APD, he is out of surgery and in stable condition Tuesday.
APD says the victim was picked up by an acquaintance somewhere on Lamar. The individuals involved have been identified and APD is not searching for anyone. The shooting has been ruled accidental by investigators.
The investigation is ongoing.
