Man dies after police chase and crash
MANOR, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - One man is dead after a police chase and crash.
Manor police say it all started around 12:30 a.m. when an officer tried to pull a vehicle over for a traffic violation.
The driver didn't stop and led police on a chase into Austin.
Officials say it ended with a minor crash on I-35 and William Cannon.
Officers performed CPR on the 29-year-old driver who was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Manor police say no force was used by officers and the driver was never taken into custody.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Travis County Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
