A metro Atlanta man is hoping to reunite a family with an item that holds priceless memories.

Chris Browning was getting gas at the Chevron on Mount Zion Road in Morrow Monday when he spotted a flash drive in the parking lot. He said he was curious and plugged it into his computer.

Browning found a folder titled “Dan's Deployment” with several photos.

One photo was of a man who appeared to be in the Air Force with a little girl in his arms. Next to him was a woman holding a red rose.

Another photo shows the man with the little girl holding a sign that reads “these are the hands that prayed for your safe return."

Browning said that was the photo that got to him.

“It touched my heart, especially the baby with the sign that was really sweet," Brown said. "I knew it was something they'd want back and I knew it wasn't something to be thrown away."

Browning believes the flash drive must have gotten lost sometime after the service member returned from deployment. He said these are photos that can't be replaced, and hopes someone recognizes the couple in the pictures.

“I'm a family man. I have a million and one memories that I wish I had captured on camera," Browning told FOX 5. "I can't imagine losing something like that."
