ATLANTA - A man was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole from breaking into a Fulton County hotel room back in 2013, brutally beating a woman, and then having sex with her corpse.
Investigators said Wallace Muhammed took off the window to unlock the door to 60-year-old Linda Jarrad's motel room on Metropolitan Parkway.
He beat her to keep her from calling 911.
After murdering Jarrad, Muhammed set her body on fire and ran.
The case was cold for six months before Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents identified him with DNA.
Muhammed had been arrested 32 times before the crime.
