Man seriously hurt after overnight crash

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - A man is seriously hurt after an overnight crash in South Austin.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. at Stassney and South Congress.

Austin-Travis County EMS says a man in his 50s and in a wheelchair was hit by a vehicle.

The man was taken to a hospital with serious possible life threatening injuries. 

Police say the driver did stay on scene. It's not clear at this time if charges will be filed.
