Man wanted for January assault in northeast Cedar Creek

CEDAR CREEK, Texas - A 20-year-old man is wanted for an assault that happened in northeast Cedar Creek in January.

Jonathan Andrew Long is wanted for assault causing bodily injury after the Bastrop County Sheriff's Office says he assaulted a man on January 26.

According to BCSO, Long and several friends were traveling in a white Chrysler 300 on McDonald Lane when they passed a man who requested they slow down. Long stopped his car and assaulted the man. BCSO says it is unknown what Long is currently driving.

BCSO says Long is known to use narcotics, is a registered gang member with the Tree Top Piru street gang and has used firearms during previous incidents in the past.

BCSO says to use caution if in contact with Long.
