Missing Carrollton teen found on bus with man headed to Mexico

CARROLLTON, Texas - Carrollton police say they've tracked down a missing 15-year-old girl who was headed to Mexico with a 24-year-old Dallas man.

Police found Brigette Lisbeth Fuentes after being reported missing on Monday after walking away from R.L. Turner High School.

San Antonio police pulled over a bus heading to Monterrey, Mexico, on Tuesday and found the teen girl along with 24-year-old Luis Manrique, who is currently under investigation for a criminal offense against Brigette.

Manrique is now in police custody. Brigette was found safe. Her parents are heading to San Antonio to pick her up.

Manrique doesn’t have a vehicle so police suspected from the beginning that the two were traveling by bus.
