The Texas Department of Public Safety has added a new face to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Rodrigo Flores, 34, is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault of a family/household member. There is a cash reward up to $7,500 being offered for information leading to his capture.

Flores, affliated with the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) gang, was born in El Paso and still has ties to the area. His criminal history includes a 2012 conviction of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in El Paso, for which he received a five-year Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) prison sentence. He has also served time in federal prison for drug offenses.

Flores is described as 5'7", approximately 180 pounds with numerous tattoos on his face, back, chest, neck, hands, arms and legs, as well as a scar on his right forearm. He may be known as "Scrappy" or "Rigo."

TxDPS has advised the public to not attempt to apprehend Flores as he is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information leading to Flores' arrest can submit it anonymously by using the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477), submitting a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about and then clicking on the link under their picture, or by submitting a Facebook tip by clicking the "SUBMIT A TIP" link (under the "About" section).
