Multiple people hurt in boat crash on Lake Travis

AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Half a dozen people were hurt, including three children, in a boat crash on Lake Travis.

Austin-Travis County EMS says the single boat crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. on August 21 on Cypress Club Pointe.

12 people were reportedly on the boat the time of the crash and six were taken to the hospital.

Officials say one adult and one child had serious injuries while two adults and two children had potentially serious injuries.

The six others on board the boat refused treatment.

Details of what caused the crash are not known at this time.
