One dead after car falls 30+ feet from bridge
AUSTIN, Texas - A man is dead after a car fell about 30 plus feet from a bridge on Tuesday evening, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
ATCEMS responded to the scene at 1500 West Slaughter Lane and says the crash was possibly due to icing. Officials say the man, in his 30’s or 40’s, died on the scene. Crews had to extract him from the vehicle.
A second passenger, a man in his 40’s, was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with critical injuries.
