Police: 'dangerous sexual predator' on the loose
ATLANTA - Atlanta Police need your help to catch 52-year-old David Turner, who authorities said preyed upon a 13-year-old girl and has now fled from authorities.
Investigators said the man is a "dangerous sexual predator" who could possibly harm another child.
Turner is 5'11" and 240 pounds, and investigators believe he is hiding out somewhere in the Metro and frequents the Southeast Atlanta area around Bouldercrest Road SE.
Police said the girl, now 17, recently came forward to authorities and alleged Turner molested her in 2014 at his business on Mills Street NW in Downtown Atlanta. Police said Turner told the girl, "don't tell your mom or put you guys out," according to the incident report.
Detectives said their investigation led authorities to press charges against Turner and urged him to turn himself in. He has not done so.
He is wanted on charges of child molestation and sexual battery of a minor.
Authorities said his address is in the Collier Heights neighborhood in Northwest Atlanta. No one answered the door when FOX 5 went to the home.
Neighbors in the area tell FOX 5, they will warn other neighbors and families with children to be on the lookout.
"If you have any daughters out there, any women that you care about-- if you see this man, turn him in," said concerned father and neighbor Edward Thomas.
