Police investigating attempted kidnapping in North Austin
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - APD is investigating an attempted kidnapping in North Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Rutland Drive and Mountain Quail Road in regards to a kidnapping of a girl around 4 p.m on Wednesday, June 12. Her age is not known at this time.
A helicopter with APD is currently being used to aid officers with their search for the suspect.
