ROUND ROCK, Texas - Police say a man is accused of stabbing his estranged wife to death inside of a storage facility Monday morning.
Police said the victim was identified as 41-year-old Dora Quiroz-Gonzalez.
According to police, Quiroz-Gonzalez met 44-year-old Jose Villasenor Diaz her estranged husband, at Life Storage located on the corner of I-35 and McNeil Road. Police said Villasenor Diaz stabbed Quiroz-Gonzalez to death inside of a storage unit.
Officers said they discovered Quiroz-Gonzalez body inside of a storage unit around 10 a.m.
Police said it appears to have been the result of family violence.
Villasenor Diaz was charged with murder and booked into the Williamson County Jail police said.
A spokesman for the police department said the investigation also brought officers to the Rocking Horse Ranch apartment complex in Round Rock, but he would not clarify what officers were looking for at that address.
However, a neighbor told FOX 7 Austin that police were at the apartment complex to talk with a family member of the victim.
