Police searching for suspect in Round Rock bank robbery
ROUND ROCK, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Round Rock police are searching for a suspect they say robbed a Wells Fargo Monday afternoon.
According to Round Rock PD, officers responded to the report of a robbery at the Wells Fargo branch at 271 University Oaks Blvd just after 4 p.m.
Round Rock officers searched the area with the assistance of an Austin police helicopter and K-9s from the Williamson County Sheriff's Office.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic female in her 40s to 50s who is between 5' and 5'3" and 160 lbs with dark hair. She was wearing sunglasses and a black hoodie.
There were no injuries and Round Rock PD says there is no threat to the public.
