Police: Suspects charged in Blair murder believed to have murdered Brentwood couple

AUSTIN, Texas - Austin police have announced that the suspects arrested and charged in the murder of choir teacher Kathy Blair are believed to be also responsible for the murders of Brentwood couple Billie and Sidney Shelton.

APD says the suspects did landscaping work for the Sheltons and Blair. APD believes that Timothy Parlin drove Shawn Gant-Benalcazar to the Sheltons' house to rob them and at that point Gant-Benalcazar killed them.

No charges have been filed in the murders of the Sheltons but APD Police Chief Art Acevedo says they are confident that the suspects in custody are responsible for all three deaths.

They announced the break in the Brentwood case at a press conference this afternoon.
