Pope Francis Celebrates Closing Mass on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway
PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - At 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Pope Francis celebrated the Closing Mass for the 2015 World Meeting of Families on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
The Holy Father addressed a crowd who gathered near the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum, and in front of 40-odd jumbotrons throughout Center City.
10,000 free tickets to the Sunday mass were made available back on September 8th, and were quickly claimed within 30 seconds.
