Possible drive-by shooting in East Austin
The Austin Police Department is investigating a possible drive-by shooting in East Austin.
According to APD, it happened in the 5200 block of Stone Gate Drive on Friday night. Police responded to a call for a possible shooting around 8:30 p.m. When officers arrived on scene, they found a female cvictim who was shot in the arm and/or hand.
She was transported to UMC Brackenridge.
APD is searching the area for possible suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
