Reservations to be required to visit Hamilton Pool from May to September

You will need to make a reservation to visit Hamilton Pool starting May 15 through September 30. Travis County Parks says reservations are being required because of the high volume of visitors during this time.
Travis County Parks says historically the May to September period is extremely busy and there are usually not enough parking spaces with traffic spilling out onto Hamilton Pool Road. It hopes the reservations will help reduce congestion by alleviating unnecessary travel to Hamilton Pool when it's at capacity and also guarantee that those who make advance reservations can gain entry.
Reservations for Hamilton Pool Preserve will be $10 per vehicle, plus daily facility use fee of $15, for one of two specific visiting times; 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The $10 reservation fee (plus $1 credit card surcharge) will be made either online or at the Park Reservations Desk at 700 Lavaca, Suite 540, Austin, TX. Advance reservations will be available starting mid April.
The park facility use fee of $15 is to be paid upon entrance to the Preserve.
