Road closures announced for 2019 Longhorn Run
AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Austin Transportation Department announced road closures for the 2019 Longhorn Run Saturday April 13.
The following roads will be fully closed from 3-11 a.m.:
- 21st Street from San Jacinto Boulevard to Guadalupe Street
The following roads will be fully closed from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.:
- San Jacinto Boulevard from W. Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard to E. Dean Keeton
- E. 23rd Street from San Jacinto Boulevard to Robert Dedman Drive
- Speedway from E. Dean Keeton to W. 45th Street
- E. 30th Street from Speedway to University Avenue
- University Avenue from E. 30th Street to E. 31st Street
- E. 27th Street from Speedway to Guadalupe Street
- Whitis Avenue from E. 27th Street to E. Dean Keeton
- Wichita Street from E. Dean Keeton to E. 27th Street
- E. 27th Street from Speedway to Wichita Street
The following roads will be partially closed from 5:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.:
- University Avenue from 21st Street to W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
- W. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard from University Avenue to San Jacinto Boulevard
The following roads will be partially closed from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
- Robert Dedman Drive from 23rd Street to E. Dean Keeton
- E. Dean Keeton from Robert Dedman Drive to Whitis Avenue
- E. Dean Keeton from Robert Dedman Drive to Wichita Street
The Longhorn Run 10K is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. and the 5K at 8:15 a.m.
