The San Marcos Police Department says 54-year-old Pedro Ybarra and his 23-year-old daughter, Larissa Ybarra, were hit by a car when they were crossing the Hutchison crosswalk around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 9.

Police have reviewed several videos from businesses in the area and along the path the suspect used to flee the scene. Police say they have narrowed the suspect's car down to two possibilities, a maroon colored 2015-2019 GMC Yukon or a maroon colored 2015-2018 Chevrolet Tahoe. SMPD says the car may have damage to the driver's side bumper.

SMPD is asking businesses with video, body shops who may have assisted with cars matching the description or anyone with information to contact them immediately at 512-753-2315.
