Search for missing Bastrop teen

A Bastrop teen has been missing for two weeks. He got a ride to Killeen to see a girl he liked and his mother hasn't seen him since. She says Killeen police told her they believe foul play may be involved.

Where is Terrell Taylor? That's the question Evette Washington-Taylor and her sister, Yolanda Washington, want an answer to.

"My child has disappeared. Vanished. Nobody knows anything. Nobody's come forward. People just don't vanish. You just don't vanish," Evette says.

Three days after Terrell left to go to Killeen, Evette says she got a call from the person who drove Terrell telling her that Terrell left behind his phone and backpack and was gone.

Evette called Bastrop police who in turn called the Killeen Police Department.

The family has been driving from Bastrop to Killeen posting flyers and trying to get the word out on social media. But so far nothing.

Evette says Killeen police are checking surveillance video and are talking with the person who gave Terrell the ride. But the whereabouts of the 19-year-old Bastrop High grad remain a mystery for now.

"For him to call me by now. He knows what I'm going through. If he could get to a phone I know he'd call me. He's never done this before," Evette says.

If you've seen Terrell or know where he may be you're asked to call Killeen police at 254-501-8830.
