Service held for father and daughter killed while crossing the street in Round Rock

Family and friends came together to say goodbye to a Round Rock father and daughter who were killed when they were hit by a car while crossing the street.

As family and friends took their turns remembering Tyrone and Cheyenne Price, words seemed to escape many who were still in disbelief they were gone. “I really don't even know what to say, if anybody knows who he was and knows who she was,” a family member said while speaking in front of the congregation.

October 29th 2016, a van and mustang collided in a Round Rock intersection and hit Tyrone and Cheyenne who were walking across the street. Round Rock police said they are still investigating the crash to find out exactly what happened, but said speed was a factor. They said they had 200 tips reported to them and are reviewing multiple videos associated with the crash. They do believe a bright blue mustang was involved in the crash.  They called the person a witness and said they want to talk with the driver.

In his 43 years of life Tyrone or "T" as many called him, was someone you could always count on and had a smile on his face. Fred Timmons is the Pastor of the Church of the Harvest, “He had that spirit where he was just infectious, everyone wanted to be around him,” he said.

In just her short 12 years of life Cheyenne touched many; she was an honor roll student who loved to dance and was excited to learn Spanish as her second language. Her family said she brought joy to so many people.

Both Tyrone and Cheyenne shared the love for their family, and each other, “You can see the love that they had one toward another and that's very important to make sure we have love one towards another,” Pastor Timmons said.

They left this world side by side and will be laid to rest side by side. But family and friends said it isn't goodbye, it's a celebration, “If so be that we suffer with him, it may be we also will be glorified with him, right now they are being glorified, they are just passing on,” a family friend said.

The family has a GoFundMe page set up to help with funeral expenses, click here for more information.
