Severe storms hit parts of Fayette County

Severe storms, and possible tornadoes, have hit parts of Fayette County. 

The National Weather Service says that two possible tornadoes may have touched down. One was west northwest of La Grange and the other was east northeast of Flatonia.

Fayette County EMS has reported on its Facebook page damage to businesses along Highway 71 near the Fayette Regoinal Air Center Airport.

Officials say the Mt. Zion Church on Egypt Road has significant damage while damage has also been reported at Ace Hardware.

So far officials say that there have been no injuries reported.
