Shooting at the Domain kills one

Austin police said one man died following a shooting at the Domain. 

Police got a call saying someone had been shot just before 5 p.m. Tuesday. 

The shooting happened in the parking lot outside Dick’s Sporting Goods. 

Police said they arrived to find one victim with life threatening injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital, but he did not survive. 

So far there is not a suspect in custody. 

Detectives are checking surveillance video and speaking with witnesses to get a better idea of what led up to the attack. 

Police said they don’t believe there is any threat to the public because of what they’ve learned from witnesses so far. They are asking anyone with additional information to call 512-477-TIPS
