Suspect jumps off bridge after police chase

A man's attempt to evade police by diving headfirst off a bridge on July 18 was captured on video in Missouri.
The Stone County Sheriff’s Office released a video of the man stopping his car on the Kimberling City Bridge, where he subsequently exited the vehicle and dove off the side of the bridge.

Authorities said in a Facebook post those deputies suffered minor injuries in the incident.
FOX News reported Gavin Thor Lundgren, of Kimberling City, was arrested and charged with three counts of third-degree assault on a special victim, resisting arrest for a felony, resisting arrest by fleeing and careless driving.

The Stone County Sheriff’s Office posted a statement on their official Facebook page about the incident involving Gavin Thor Lundgren writing: "This was definitely a first and luckily he survived the fall," the sheriff's office said in a statement. "He resisted arrest and deputies suffered minor injuries taking him into custody."
