TAYLOR, Texas - The Taylor Animal Shelter is asking for volunteers to come and walk dogs waiting for their 'furever homes.'
The shelter posted on Facebook that they currently don't have any regular volunteers coming during the week, which they say is when they need the help the most.
"Walking is a great way to get the dogs out of their kennels and to work on socializing," says the shelter.
Those wanting to volunteer must be 18 years or older to volunteer unsupervised. Anyone under 18 who would like to volunteer has to have a parent or guardian with them at all times.
Anyone interested in volunteering can pick up an application at the shelter or online.
