Suspicious death in Northeast Austin

TCSO has identified the victim but is not releasing his name until they can notify his family.

AUSTIN, Texas - The Travis County Sheriff's Office is investigating a suspicious death in Northeast Austin. The body was found dead in a ditch near Daffin Elementary School.

The investigation is taking place near the intersection of Daffan Lane and Decker Lane, according to TCSO. The body was discovered around 10 a.m. by workers on the side of the roadway.

TCSO has identified the victim but is not releasing his name until the family is notified.
