TCSO searching for suspects stealing mailboxes

The Travis County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in locating the suspects responsible for stealing a bank of community mailboxes in southwest Travis County. In a video shared on Twitter, two suspects can be seen using a truck to steal the mailboxes.

According to TCSO, the incident happened before 5 a.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Lewis Mountain subdivision or 8100 block of Lewis Mountain Drive. 

The first suspect, who was the driver, is described as a white male with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a camouflage baseball cap, a black jacket over a camouflage jacket, a blue and white striped shirt, blue jeans, black athletic shoes, and green gloves.

His face was covered with a blue bandana. 

The second suspect, who was the passenger in the vehicle, is described as a white or Hispanic male with short brown hair and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray baseball cap with a "W" emblem, a black coat, white shirt, black gloves, black pants, and black shoes.

The car is believed to be a grey new model Ford F-150. 

A "Lone Star" dealer advertisement was affixed to the rear of the vehicle.
