Texas Parks & Wildlife identify three dead after boating incident on Lake Fayette

The Texas Parks & Wildlife Department has identified three men who died as a result of a boating incident on Lake Fayette Saturday night.

Fredy Donaldo Figeroa Videz of Buda, Jerson Gregorio Figeroa of Austin, and Antony Santos Reyes of Austin were identified as victims of the incident.

According to a statement from TPWD, game wardens and local law enforcement were notified Feb 8 around 10 p.m. of a boat with five men onboard that had sunk on the Fayette County Reservoir. Two were able to swim to shore and three others, Videz, Figeroa, and Reyes, were missing.

One was recovered during search efforts Feb. 9 and the other two were recovered during search efforts Feb. 10 in 14-16 feet of water in the vicinity of the boat near the discharge of the power plant.

TPWD says the Texas Game Wardens, the LCRA and the Fayette County Sheriff's Office conducted the search. 

The investigation is ongoing.
