A tornado watch is in effect for much of Central Texas.
The National Weather Service issued the watch for Bandera, Blanco, Burnet, Comal, Edwards, Gillespie, Hays, Kendall, Kerr, Llano, Real, Travis and Williamson counties until 9 p.m. Sunday.
A watch is issued when conditions are favorable for the specified weather.
The threat of a tornado is moderate. Threats of severe wind and hail are high according to the alert.
Right now, there are no tornado warnings in effect.
