Watch: Man stops elderly wrong-way-driver

LUBBOCK, Texas - Video taken from a driver’s point of view shows a man’s desperate attempt to stop a 94-year-old woman from driving the wrong way down a Texas highway.

Thomas Pardo spotted the woman and instantly went into action.

His camera recorded as he looked over to the 94-year-old woman’s white sedan, driving the wrong way on the other side of the highway.

In the video, Pardo tried multiple times to get the other driver’s attention. He even pulled into a service vehicle lane in the median and put his hand out of his window.

“Stop! Stop!” he yelled as he waved his open hand, but she did not stop.

When he began driving the wrong way along her side, she finally slowed and stopped.

Pardo told her she was going the wrong way and to pull forward and off of the roadway.

According to reports, Pardo is a professional driver and knew the woman was putting herself and others in danger.
