WilCo Sheriff's Office investigating fatal officer-involved shooting

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting. 

According to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, deputies were following a suspect in a vehicle pursuit in the early afternoon on Thursday, October 12, 2017. The Texas Department of Public Safety was also involved in the vehicle pursuit. It is unclear at this time what led deputies to pursue the suspect.

The chase began in Williamson County and ended in Bell County on Highway 195. 

The suspect was shot and killed by deputies. 

It is not clear at this time who fatally shot the suspect.
