Woman dies after being hit crossing 290

Police are investigating after a woman died after she was crossing the eastbound lanes of 290 near Brodie Lane and was hit by a car.

It happened at around 6:30 a.m. No further information about the woman has been released at this time.

Police say to expect delays in the area as they continue to investigate.
