Woman kidnapped, sexually assaulted in Austin

A woman was kidnapped and sexually assaulted after being attacked when leaving a friend's apartment around 8 p.m. in Austin on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. 

The Austin Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying the suspect. 

According to APD, the victim was hit from behind and knocked unconscious after leaving a friend's apartment in the 900 block of Duncan Lane around 8 p.m. When she regained consciousness, she was inside an unknown apartment and was sexually assaulted by a suspect. 

The victim was, once again, violently struck and lost consciousness. 

Later, the victim regained consciousness on the side of a road close to Duncan Lane.

The victim could only describe her attacker as a Hispanic male.
