Austin hosting WGC - Dell Match Play

The world's top 64 golfers will tee it up at Austin Country Club from March 23-27. It's an unprecedented level of golf in Austin and the first pro golf in town since the Champions Tour left in 2009.

Home grown Hall of Famers Ben Crenshaw and Tom Kite headlined a media day and who better than two biggest faces of Austin golf to serve as unofficial hosts?

Two of game's current stars, Rory McIlroy and Jordan Speith, made appearances via live satellite and video respectively.

It's a great opportunity for golf fans and Austin Mayor Steve Adler expects the tournament to bring roughly 70,000 people and $20 million to town.

The tournament is sold out but with each paid ticket a child 18 or under can get in free as well.

The pre-tourney selection show will also be broadcast live from the Paramount Theatre on March 21.
