Texas students compete in math contest through video submissions

Some Central Texas students are showing off their rap skills through a regional math contest.

Students have to send videos of themselves rapping as to why math matters to them and they'll have a chance at performing at SXSW this year. Artist Saul Paul from Austin, seen in his video called ‘Mo’ Math Mo’ money’ with some familiar faces, is challenging middle and high school students in Central Texas to join in on this math matters contest.

Students have until midnight on Feb. 9 to submit their video. For all the rules and submission info you can go here.
